GitGuardian is one of the start-ups appearing on the Index this year. The selection, based on financial criteria of fundraising or hypergrowth of turnover, is open to all startup models (digital, deeptech, industrial) and to all sectors of activity. This year 36 companies exited and entered the index, demonstrating the competitiveness of the French ecosystem. 4 startups including GitGuardian represent the security sector.
This is another proof, after the FIC start-up of the year award, that GitGuardian is an innovative fast-growing company leading the way in Cybersecurity. This award gives the company more visibility and is a differentiator for the employer’s brand.
Further to the Series B fundraising, recruitment is strategic. The team will be strengthened in France through the recruitment of a large number of profiles, particularly technical. The R&D is located in Paris and the team of more than 30 people will double in 2022 by integrating many developers but also QA engineers and engineering managers for the development teams. An office will be opened in Austin, in the US, and sales and marketing profiles will be hired there.
